Learn why Littleton Academy is an innovator in the field and how we can provide your child with an education that is truly world class.

Educational Philosophy

Since every child learns uniquely, Littleton Academy
implements experiential learning:

“A teaching method in which students learn by reflecting on the real-world and personally meaningful projects that spark an entrepreneurial spirit and equip each student with the knowledge and skills necessary to become the very best version of themselves.”

Our Core Beliefs

Littleton Academy’s Seven Pillars

A curriculum that cultivates the whole child

1

Arts

Do you have an artist at home? At LA, our students demonstrate effective communication by engaging in multicultural citizenship and artistic experiences to develop cultural awareness and talent development in fine arts, performing arts, theatre, music, and sound production.

2

Academics

Helping our students overcome the challenges of today's academics, our students use their awareness of individual strengths to drive project selection and academic design. This process develops mastery in math, science, reading, social studies, and foreign language.

3

Agriculture

Students acquire essential knowledge and skills by planning, planting, tending to, and maintaining plants for bodily nutrition, campus beautification, and representation at local farmers' market(s). Students use these skills for personal or career applications.

4

Entrepreneurship & Finances

Centered around Technical & Financial Literacy students engage in a balance of deep mindful exploration and creative application of physical, digital, environmental, and financial tools provided for their growth opportunities in the world of finance and business.

5

Trades

Students cultivate the skills needed to supply the workforce in culinary arts, carpentry, landscape, architecture, and mechanics. Community-Based Partnerships allow access into the local business economy, thus providing hands-on experience.

6

Emotional Intelligence

Is your child a leader? Creating great leaders is one of the most important goals a school can achieve. LA teaches our students five executive competencies needed to be successful in the future. Successful leaders lead people, lead change, are results-driven, have business judgment, communicate and build coalitions.

7

Robotics /
Technology

Concentrations in applied algebraic and geometric studies are combined with real-world scientific explorations to produce creative processes and solutions to real world problems. Strategic partnerships and alliances engage students in competitive play that will gauge how well they are advancing in 21st century robotics and technology skills, as it compares to other global competitors their age.
